About this extension

This module adds Google as an OAuth2-provider, so your users can log in or register using their Google accounts.

To use this module, you must acquire a Client ID and -secret from the Google API console. See https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OAuth2 for more details on how to acquire these values. Instructions on how to configure the plugin is available from The Bug Genie control panel after installation.

Note: If you experience errors after installing this plugin, try running composer install from within modules/oauth2_google to manually install required libraries.

How to install this extension

Download this module archive and extract the downloaded oauth2_google.zip into the modules directory under the top thebuggenie directory, to create the new oauth2_google directory:

After unpacking the archive so the directory structure is as shown above, visit the "Manage modules" section in the configuration center to install the new module.
